For our sake he made him to be sin who knew no sin, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God — 2 Corinthians 5:21
Through Jesus Christ, our sins are taken away from us and we are washed clean. We were once in darkness but now we are in the light. We were once lost, but now we’re found. God’s amazing love for us has made a beautiful exchange once we accepted Jesus as Lord and Saviour.
“He takes all of our sins, faults, weaknesses, and failures, and gives us His ability, His righteousness, and His strength. He takes our diseases and sicknesses and gives us His healing and health. He takes our messed-up, failure-filled past and gives us hope of a bright future.” — Joyce Meyer.
No human being is able to do this kind of exchange. No one can take our bad stuff from us and then give us something good in return. Human beings are fragile and when absorbed too much sin will shatter. But the Lord, who’s the source of our being will forever be more than sufficient for us.
Jesus Christ is not just an option, he is the only option. Will you look for others who would soon fail you? You can’t rely on humans like us. You can’t rely with knowledge and power alone. Jesus Christ is eternal, and isn’t it the best option to choose where you’ll have an endless supply of beautiful exchange? Wisdom and strength are included.
