Living What’s Learned

This Book of the Law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate on it day and night, so that you may be careful to do according to all that is written in it. For then you will make your way prosperous, and then you will have good success. — Joshua 1:8

Life is a never ending process of learning. Every step of the way, even in our highs and lows, we learn something new. In our fields of career, we always want to give our best and be the best that we can be. We aim for promotion and keep climbing that ladder of success.

What do we do to be successful in life? We study and master the essential tools. But we do not stop in the studying phase. We live what we learn! It is a real waste when we study, spend time and energy, but never apply it in our lives. In order to succeed in life, we should meditate on God’s Word day and night, understand it and then practice, practice and practice!

It’s not enough to just read the Bible and memorize it. The essential elements that we should apply are faith and obedience. We have faith in what we read and study, that it will lead us to growth and success. We obey what we have faith on because what is faith without action anyway?

So we meditate on God’s Word day and night, then carefully obey it. What happens next? It will make our way prosperous and we will have good success.
